It is with deep regret I have to report the passing of one of our members. Jack Southern passed away on the 29^th May at Gateshead Queen Victoria Hospital after a short illness. He was a member of this club since the sixties and was involved in a number of our layouts and welcomed many friends to operate his extensive home layout on a regular basis. He was a close personal friend since the 1960’s and will be greatly missed by all our members. Our thoughts and sympathy go to his family at this sad time.
